# Concept
Everything is encompassed by the "hivemind" which makes major scale decisions like expanding towards a certain direction, fortifying regions or ordering specific productions in regions.
It does so by giving out goals to the regional overlords.
An overlord can own structures and creeps which perform the roles assigned by it. An overlord has a single goal at its mind (for example the basic setup of a region). Once an overlord has achieved its goal (some goals are infinite) or is directly ordered to change it by the hivemind it might put now useless creeps into hibernation meaning they finish their last task, then rest somewhere out of the way. If the hivemind assigns no new goal to the overlord it falls into a fallback maintenance goal.
While an overlord is a meta object it defines itself mostly by the spawns it owns which indirectly also define roughly its operational range.
If a new room is conquered a new overlord is spawned for it after the new spawn has the basic setup.
Hibernated units do not have an owner and are up for grabs by any overlord. An overlord should take the distance a creep is to the overlord's area into account though.
